Wyatt loves his big people food. at the sight of the spoon he eagerly opens his mouth and makes little grunting noises if we are too slow in getting food into his mouth. He likes most everything we've tried! Avocado, squash, zucchini, green beans, carrots, pears, apples, mango, and the little guy LOVES watermelon.
He just started sitting up and crawling about 1 week ago. Both milestones in one week! Yikes! It's more of an army crawl- but it serves his purposes just fine. I haven't had a chance to baby proof anything yet- but it's on the list!
What a big boy. So independent already. At 6 months you are: sitting up, crawling, eating real food, still lovin' your jumper. You like: toes, stroller rides, keyboards, peek-a-boo games, doggies, dump trucks, swimming in the pool, straws, spoons and Mommy and Daddy.
I've been at work now for almost a month. Wyatt's first week of daycare was really rough. On both of us. He cried a lot- so I cried a lot. Then he got really sick on day 3 of daycare. It was awful. But- I'm happy to say he's adjusted well the last two weeks and is enjoying playing with the other kids.
I have some big decisions coming up in the next few weeks about whether or not I'll continue with my doctorate. there are some good alternatives,but this little summer session has been very eye opening regarding what it will take to juggle a kid and a career. I'll keep you all posted:)
