First Tooth

I brag that my son is an excellent sleeper (Except when traveling). He normally is down for the count by 7:30-8 every night and sleeps until 5:30-6 ish. He'll eat and then snooze for another 1-1.5 hrs.

BUT...this week has been rough. Sunday night he was up fussin' for hours. Every 30 minutes he'd wake up and fuss and fuss. Around 3 in the morning- after 4 hours of 30 minute espisodes...I discovered his first tooth breaking through. He's been up at  least twice every night this week and The only way to get him back to sleep is to feed him. Ugh. I'm TIRED. I'm hoping it's not like this for every tooth!

He's a little ham during the day though! He crawls like a champ and follows me everywhere I go. I picked him up from "School" the other day. As soon as he saw me standing there he flashed a HUGE smile and immediately crawled as fast as he could to me. What a sweet boy.

Busy times

I feel like time has sped up significantly since starting back to school. We've had a few trips and visits sprinkled here and there but life just seems to speed on by. We are loving all the family time, and thankful Wyatt gets to meet so many people.

This weekend- Grandaddy Branch had a major health crisis on Friday.  He has stabilized now- but the next 48 hrs will be telling as to how much damage was done.  It's so hard to wait and put full trust in God's will. But that's all we can do right now. Wait and Pray. While we're not happy at the circumstances, we are delighted to see all our family. Here are a few pics from lunch with the family today:

Family Visit: Williams 60th anniversary Party

Last weekend, Byron, Wyatt and I headed up to Oklahoma for Mamaw and Pawpaw's 60th wedding anniversary celebration. It was a whirlwind trip-but Wyatt got to meet a whole new set of family members for the first time, and Mommy got a break from holding him.

Aunt Emily meets Wyatt. ( I think those are fake birthday spankings going on in the background).

This is Byron's cousin Joshua. He's the funniest, most imaginative kid! I'll post videos at a later point to demonstrate what I mean.

Curious Baby

Boy is this kiddo loved!

Poppa B tickling Wyatt

Breakfast with Momma B

Wyatt loves to chew on this nose sucker. I"ve never used it for that purpose so I let him go to town.

The Williams Family

Great Grandchildren

We tried to snap pics quickly-but this is the best one I found of the Branches. Which is sad- because Wyatt isn't looking and Court has a weird expression on.

Wiggling in Church. Always a juggling act.

I love this picture of Pawpaw down on the floor playing with the grandkids. So sweet.

Wearing Poppa B's glasses. I"m amazed he didn't try and eat them.
We had a great trip. Wyatt did so well on the plane rides. He woke up one time when the intercom came on (about 5 decibels too loud) announcing the weather. Seriously- who cares? Shhhh- don't they know babies are sleeping? Or at least turn it down a notch. He woke up MAD. he eventually calmed down and went back to sleep. On our last flight there were these brats sitting behind us- kicking chairs and yelling and demanding more candy. The parents were just as bad. O my goodness. And they were probably about 8. Not 2, not 1, not 6 months. 8 years old and acting like that. Thank goodness it was only a 45 minute flight. I was so proud of my kid. He was SO good and he doesn't even know better.

A great weekend with family. I just wish we could see them more often! Next trip on the docket...BOSTON- to see my Great Grandmother. That's right- Wyatt and Eli makes generation #5. So we're going to take that picture.

Family Visit: Lee sisters

My Auntie Carolyn and Uncle Jay were in San Antonio last week for a conference. We managed to fit in a dinner on the 4th before our family headed up to Oklahoma. It was wonderful to catch up and visit and Wyatt was the star of the evening as always. He showed them what a big boy he is by sitting at the table, eating watermelon, crawling, jumping and going to bed all by himself.

Then- On Sunday- when we returned from Oklahoma, My Auntie Diane from Seattle stayed with us and got to meet the little man.
She brought him some special bath toys that are a nice soft rubber. Perfect for chewing.

We spent time at the pool and hanging in the backyard. What a lucky kid- so much love and attention!
